You Are Being Conned

This morning, I watched another "fair and balanced" debate on one of the Fox News morning shows. You know the type, they're on all the cable news channels, they bring on a couple of twenty something "political consultants" who spout the same old party propaganda that showed up in their email box this morning and it's labeled debate.

Since most people don't have as much time on their hands as I do the cable networks get away with running these shams all day continually stoking controversy, even at the expense of the truth, between ever increasing sales messages! The following link clearly illustrates the bending of the truth to foment a split between groups!

The Founders envisioned a government of three co-equal branches with a "press#, before there was a "media", which would aggressively monitor each branch and keep it honest, so to speak. Little did they realize the "press" would evolve into a "media" involved not in monitoring government but in actually helping to foment division in order to sell more stuff!

Thought you'd heard it all did you? No, that's not even the worst of it! This "media" is clever enough to fill the on air time with more and more inane selling messages and getting you and I to pay for it. But what about the news you say? Well, while you are watching the latest attorney tell you how he will be fighting for the settlement you are entitled to receive if you took the drug that was in a commercial 5 minutes ago, the news you see is not "the news", but it is the news which fits the agenda of the outlet you are watching!

What a great business model, kind of like hiring a sales force and getting your customers to pay for it and providing a product much different from the one you claim to sell!

Enjoy that new tv you paid 100's of dollars for only to find that is a small part of the real cost!

56 patriots (YOUR FOREFATHERS) signed the Declaration of Independence knowing they would be accused of Treason against the Crown and condemned to Death if caught!

Gettysburg Address

"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth upon this continent a new nation conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
