Whose Deal?

It's a game. It's taken a while but now I'm sure these guys we've elected to represent us have made it a game and the press, who were supposed to keep them honest, are instead players themselves. The politicians have no intention of solving any of the problems they created and the press cheers them on. How many times have you heard them gleefully spew their excitement about the battle?

Where does that leave you and I? Well, of course, we are holding the bag but of greater concern is the fact our kids and grand kids are holding an even bigger one. Yet no one seems concerned. If we let this game go on we will bankrupt the greatest country on earth.

What can we do about it, after all we're just ordinary folks? The first thing we can do is stop believing the threats and lies. Our President stands up today and tells us we won't get our social security checks, the military won't get paid, or our kids may not have enough food unless the debt limit is raised so we can borrow more money from the Chinese. This the part of the game we have to stop playing.

These people work for us, we have to start making that very clear and stop acting like sheep or we'll find ourselves being slaughtered instead of simply sheared. They like to run so well it is time to run them, all of them, right out of office and replace them with some folks who will truly work for us.
